Day
1
Medan – Brastagi
Arrive at Polonia
Airport, Medan City Tour visiting Sultan Deli Palace, The grand Mosque,
Kesawan Shopping Centre and Chinese Temple. Drive to Brastagi highland
to include stops at Sibolangit Botanical Garden, Sikulikap waterfall,
Brastagi fruit market and Lingga village to see the traditional houses
of Batak Karo. Overnight.
Day 2
Brastagi – Samosir Island
Drive to Sipiso-piso waterfall and the Long house of Batak
Simalungun King at Pematang Purba. Upon arrival at Tigaras, cruise on
Lake Toba visiting Simanindo village to see the traditional houses of
Batak Toba and a Batak dance. Lunch will be served at Tao Isle.
Afternoon, continue cruise to Ambarita village with its ancient stone
chairs and tables in the court yard. Then proceed to the village where
you can see the Royal grave of King Sidabutar and or directly walk a
long the lake side passing Tomok village until you reach Tuk-Tuk village
the location of hotel for accommodation, dinner and Batak folk song.
Day 3
Samosir Island – Sipirok
Cruise to Parapat and further drive to Sipirok. Enroute stops at
Jangga, Gurgur, Porsea villages, see the richly ornamented market
building at Balige, the Royal grave of King Sisingamangaraja XII one of
Indonesia National heroes at Balige and a sulphuric hot spring at
Sipoholon. Stop in Tarutung a small town in Silindung valley for lunch.
Overnight.
Day 4
Sipirok - Padang Sidempuan - Bukittinggi
Drive through the Bukit Barisan, the mountain range which runs the
entire length of Sumatra, to Bukittinggi. Stop will be made at Batang
Gadis and at Usortolong village to see the remnants of Mandailing Batak
typical houses, Bonjol village where the equator crosses, Panti Nature
reserve inhabited by various species of tropical flora and several
endangered animals which rarely can be seen. Lunch will be served
enroute.
Visit to Palupuh to see the RAFLESIA flower. Dinner and overnight at the
Bukittinggi view hotel.
Day 5
Bukittingi - - Maninjau See
Visit spectacular Sianok Grand Canyon, Fort de Kock, zoo, museum and
Pagaruyung. Then drive to the Lake Maninjau. Stop at Embun Pagi for the
nice landscape, overlooking the unspeakable beauty of Lake Maninjau as
well as its winding road with 44 hairpin curves. Visit to Kota Gadang
village in the afternoon well known for its embroidery and silver works
on the way back to Bukittinggi. Lunch will be served at local
restaurant. Dinner and overnight at Bukittinggi view hotel.
Day
6
Bukittinggi - Padang
After breakfast, depart to Padang the capital town of West Sumatra
through the Anai valley.
Lunch will be served
at local restaurant. Then continue to Tabing Airport for your flight to
your next destination. End of tour. |
